Tess’ Noodle Kugel

Ingredients


Filling:

  • 1 lb of medium or fine egg noodles

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 lb cream cheese

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1⁄4 cup butter or margarine

Topping:

  • 1 1⁄2 cups coarsely crushed Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies

  • 1⁄2 stick butter or margarine, melted

  • 1⁄2 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp brown sugar


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).

  2. Cook noodles. Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Beat eggs, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and butter together in a large bowl. Stir in noodles, and place mixture in prepared pan.

  3. Mix topping ingredients together and spread over top of the noodle kugel. Bake for 1 hour.
